West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will declare the West Bengal 12th Result 2020 on its official website tomorrow, i.e. July 17, 2020 at 3:30 pm. The West Bengal 12th Result will be announced for Science, Arts and Commerce streams. Students will be able to check their WB 12th Result 2020 using their roll number and date of birth. The WB 12th mentions the student's details like name, roll number, date-of-birth, marks obtained in different subjects, grades, etc. Students must note that the WBCHSE Results 2020 released online is provisional in nature. They will be required to collect the original mark sheet from their schools.

This year, the WB HS exams were scheduled to be conducted from March 12 to March 27, 2020. However, some of the examinations that were postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak scheduled to be reconducted on July 2, 6 and, 8 now stand cancelled.

For the assessment of the cancelled papers, council will take into consideration the marks obtained in already conducted papers. In this case, the highest marks obtained in a certain paper will be taken into consideration for the cancelled papers. Students who are not satisfied with the marks obtained in cancelled papers can appeal to the Council which will conduct examinations for them after the ongoing crisis subsides. The time and date of the exam for these students will be announced only after favourable condition establishes.

Last year, the West Bengal Class 12 Result 2020 was declared on May 27, 2019. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 86.92%.

West Bengal 12th Result 2020 - Qualifying Marks
Students need a minimum of 30% marks in all compulsory subjects. The theory exams are conducted for 90 marks while 10 marks are awarded for the internal evaluation. If the student does not take the exam from any school, then the theory paper carries 10 extra marks i.e exam will be conducted for 100 marks. The board has set 25 marks such that students must pass in every subject.

West Bengal 12th Result 2020: Revaluation
If a student is not satisfied with their result then they can apply for revaluation of WB 12th result 2020. Students can apply for revaluation through their respective schools:

For the same, students would need to collect the revaluation form from respective schools and then fill the form with the required credentials. Students must submit the duly filled form to the respective school authority along with the fee before the last date.
The board will declare the last date of applying for revaluation after the declaration of West Bengal 12th result 2020. WBCHSE will release the West Bengal Revaluation result in the mid of August 2020, tentatively.

WBCHSE Result 2020 -Compartment
Students who are unable to pass in one or two subjects after the declaration of WB 12th result 2020 will be given another opportunity to clear the exam. Students can appear for compartment exam and save an academic year. One can apply for the compartment exam through respective schools. For that, students will have to collect a prescribed form from school and fill the required credentials carefully. Submit the completely filled form with the requisite fee to the respective school authorities.

WBCHSE will conduct compartment exams in the month of July 2020, tentatively.  The West Bengal 12th class result 2020 for the same will be released in the month of August 2020.
